Have a 2015 S class that has been misfiring. Mercedes said it was down to one ignition cable logged from their computer… had the same problem 2 years ago and replace 2 …. This time I said they should replace the remaining 4. Mercedes are out of stock of them so went to a garage who told me to order compatible Bosch ones from euro car parts along with plugs.
Garage fitted them however the car was even worse than it was before … so now putting the old ones back …hope the genuine mercedes ones will work whenever they get them ….. though it’s strange the compatible ones didn’t resolve the issue.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Now have to wait for mercedes to get them in which could be weeks apparently!
