Does anyone knows how many rhd were built in total? 1991 MERCEDES AMG 3.4 ltr AUTO (Rare) on eBay (end time 19-Oct-09 13:40:57 BST)

I recognise that car, it spent a lot of time with Chaz at the SEC shop a couple of years ago having a lot of engine work done. (complete top end rebuild).

It was quite a genuine car back then, bar the replica wheels which it still seems to have, odd on a genuine AMG car, which this is.

I assume this is based on the 3.0 24v 104 engine? I know there were only 6 or 7 of the later 3.6 AMG estates, but don't know how many of these there were made.

Came out the factory as a 3.0ltr 24v and then sent to AMG for engine modifcations and a bodykit. I believe the correct wheels for that period where aero 1's which so much suit the car.

Either Aero I's or OZ split rims depending which option was ticked.

He has a half decent site but wouldn't let us view it over the weekend, we would have to wait until after Tuesday as it was "in his mechanics"

I would really have like to see this but its the only car on his site that doesn't have a price - just a "to be negotiated" and judging by his other cars for sale I have a suspicion it will be a bit more than I would be prepared to pay
