I have a 2016 C Class Estate. I just noticed this - see photos. Looks like a long spring (or metal rod) has popped. Needless to say the automatic parcel shelf no longer works. I can't see where or how to put it back. A real mystery to me, but I'm not very mechanically-minded. Does anybody know if this is an easy/quick fix (and how to do it)? Or am I looking at an expensive repair at my local Mercedes dealer?
