My E350CDi has 264A 'brown' seats according to the data card.....even though they are, to my eyes at least, anything but brown! Anyway, there's a couple of scuffs on them I'd like to sort out - I've searched for a supplier for the correct renovating cream or liquid, but no joy. Can anyone direct me to a supplier who can colour-match please? Do dealers do the stuff?

Thanks for that. They don't list my colour, but I've dropped them an email asking if they can help.

I would heartily recommend Colourlock. They have quite a few colours they can make ready to go but ideally they match to the actual colour. I'm not that far away (they are near-ish to Heathrow) so i took my car to them. But you can just send them a sample or a headrest etc. The actual repair solution is superb. You honestly cannot tell. I had some slight wear and repaired it over a year ago and it is still as good as the day i did it. They were incredibly helpful as well.

Ditto for Colourlok. So easy to use and pretty durable too. their site shows MB paint colours Do you have the leather colour code. it will be on the data sheet

Sorry didnt see it in your first post. (must go slower) As far as I can see 264a is called Saffron or Saffran depending on language and appears to be a sort of orangey brown colour

Yes the data cards are very poor as far as names go. The codes are usually correct though. My CLS55 interior is Cashmere Beige AMG Leather. but the data card says "284A Brown". The code is correct For Cashmere Beige but the description of "Brown" like yours is rather vague.

I've mailed Colourlock to see if they can help. Interestingly, the 'saffron' shown on their Mercedes chart looks nothing like my seats!

Mercedes' choice of colour name on the data cards seems akin to DVLA's on V5s!

Well, the plot thickens! Colourlock got back to me today - they confirmed that the data card showed '264A brown', then went online (not sure where....?) and found it was 'saffron/java'.......and then called Mercedes, who say I have 'Marrakesh 8N54'!

I've found nothing online that looks anything like my colour, so I'll be trying to find a bit I can snip off to send for them to match - failing that, the rear centre headrest will do!

Well, this is "supposed" to be 264a Saffron Brown from a 2010 W212. (According to a US Ebay seller)

Is this what you're looking at ?

Looks like the saddle brown that I have in my BMW runabout.

As an outsider, who hasn't seen the car, I'd warn about trying to fiddle with colours unless the damage is horrific.

A proper clean and refinish by a detailer brings the leather back to as new - for not very much money at all.

If you can't find a detailer directly, local garages will know someone who can just do leather seats for you.
