S212 tailgate won't latch. 200 miles from home, help!

That's funny - I have been having similar thoughts though and may go for it ready for next year's 'motoring season'.

I occasionally have thoughts about an EV. But I'm a private buyer and the sums don't add up for me.

Or maybe a hybrid. I like the idea of electrickery round town but I can't get excited about a 4 pot. Shame MB never did them as a 6 as that's my ideal combo.

Or there's the E43. Or even the E400d. They're both stonking cars. But they're still high £20k's.

I had real reasons to go 200SX => C43 saloon = C43 estate => 211 E500 estate => 212 E500 estate.

But there's nothing obvious to tempt me out of my car with a clear benefit at a reasonable cost.

I just can't decide what to do. So I just end up doing nothing.

... which is not a bad thing when you have an E500 to keep enjoying...
