Hi all

Just reading through thread ref Sat Nav update. I have a 2017 CLS 350 which has both CD & SD card slots. Would I need a CD or SD card to update my Sat Nav to the latest version which I presume is 2020. can anyone direct me to the best place to buy either please?

Regards

Ben

What Satnav system is fitted to your car? Maybe use a VIV decoder to get the spec, or email your VIN to comand.co.uk (forum sponsors and MB ICE gurus), they'll tell you exactly what you have and what you need.

Many thanks Appreciate it

Just emailed them :)

CLS’ all have COMAND so a garmin SD card won’t do anything. Your nav is updated with a disc, which can be done by an MB dealer if you give your local site a call

As above, you'll need to work out first what type of system you have, so run your VIN in a free VIN decoder online.

Also, when you first switch on the infotainment system, does it say "Don't let COMAND distract you...." or does it say "Don't let the SYSTEM distract you..."? The former means you have COMAND with built in navigation, the latter means you have Audio20 with the optional Garmin Map Pilot navigation on SD-Card.

If you have COMAND, then check here for the latest version:

You can purchase the update from a dealer, or from www.comandonline.co.uk.

The CLS did not have Comand as standard im afraid. Ive seen plenty with Audio 20.
