Sat Nav volume

Hi, Could anyway tell me how I adjust or activate the sound on my sat nav. The car is a 2015 C180 Coupe. The volume icon on the sat nav has an X through the speaker symbol indicating that the sound is muted but I can't seem to find how to unmute it?

Announcements are turned back on again by pressing the mute button, or turning COMAND off and on again using the On control knob or when starting route guidance again.

press the volume up button on the steering wheel (same one as for radio volume) when the satnav is giving verbal directions

how does one do this when its muted?

I think it’s a matter of pressing the centre command knob when you’ve highlighted the X over the speaker symbol ie press once to mute press again to unmute or vice versa
