Hi All I've bought some AMG 6 spoke alloys and I've had them Diamond Cut and they look great, One problem they are all 8.5j and the front should be 7.5j. Any ideas ? They are to be fitted to my SLK 171 200 Kompressor 07 Plate The tyre sizes match what is already on the car ? Could I use a spacer ?....

Have a look at the fitting chart below. You may get away without fitting a spacer dependant on your tyre size.

Hi AMGeed Hopefully, I did see something like this on alloywheelsdirect.net and I'm waiting for them to get back to me. The Tyres are exactly the same size but the offset is different. Thanks for your help much appreciated.

That chart above was taken from alloy wheels direct.

If the Offset is a higher number than indicated on the chart, yo may need a spacer to move it away from the caliper/suspension strut.
Conversely, a lower number ET (offset) will move the wheel toward the arch.

The Centre bore part of the wheel is shallower on the new wheel the existing wheel centre bore is thicker
