SD Card prob.

I now have two SD cards which are fine on every device apart from my camera. When in the camera they say they are full and I have repeatedly Formatted them both in the camera and in the PC. I've renamed them and erased them and done everthing I can think of but still my camera says they are full! Any ideas anyone?

Are they more than 2gb?
Some older cameras cant handle larger size cards.

Some cameras when they reach the limit of say 999 images thats its you have to reset the counter,

There should be a setting to do this.

I had a similar problem with the SD Card reader on an HP laptop, had to update the drivers for it to be able to recognise larger capacity cards.

I've tried to format but it still says "Full"-I haven't reset the counter so I'll do that next!

Yes they worked before. One is 512mb card and one a 1GB card, I am currently using a 4GB card with no issues.

I wouldnt waste too much time on this when a replacement 1GB card is of such a low value now.
