Hello everyone I hope someone can advice me to make my mind.
I am proud owner of W211 280 Cdi sport in black and really love that car.
But for past five months I start having problem with my car. the biggest issue I have is my gearbox start to play around .
Start with in cold start for quick take off felt like stick on first gear and big bang and car went to limp mode... but after few minutes back to normal..I been told turbo actuater faulty. ( replaced) car was ok for a while but than problem start again.
Done gearbox service with MB specialist good for while but same history.
I start having fault code permanently
Output Speed Sensor Y3/8N3 Output Speed Sensor VGS Not Available
The Signal From Component Y3/8N1 (Turbine Speed Sensor, VGS) Is Not Available.
Sent conductor plate for rpaire for 3 time, but each time they said no fault code coming up but the fully rebiuld it.
I still having issue (The Signal From Component Y3/8N1 (Turbine Speed Sensor, VGS) Is Not Available.) car drive ok but I can feel the shifting some times I can feel a bang when droping speed and and accelerate again.... my car done 131000 miles.
I do have propshaft vibration in low speed and getting worse in high speed but not sure if it dose have affact in my problem.
Now I bought a 280 cdi executive with 60000 miles Cat N. I had in mind to move gearbox to my car plus some other part but it this to clean to break it. plus it was a bit expensive
please advice is worth to move part to my sport which it look more nicer or just fix the new merc and either brake mine or sell it....
I will lose steering flip pedal and xenon headlight. lower suspension
