Just for info.Collected my C250 from repair shop to find split seam drivers seat ( seat no wear at all not heavy use)cut it short shop agreed replace , I called at Mercedes dealer to collect the cover and the parts guy told me Mercedes had sold at least 1500 of these. The seam is only decorative so acts as a perforation if a heavy guy was to sit on a pencil on it that they left on the seat.Upholster I showed it said someone had probably knelt on it. Part alone was £280 glad I didn’t have to pay.
