when my w202 was serviced the service indicator was reset. I have done about a thousand miles since and was wondering how long before it shows its self. I think before it was about 750 miles. Cheers, T.

If yours is a facelift W202 (post 1997) and if I remember correctly when you press the zero trip button twice in succession with the ignition key in you should get a display showing how many miles (or days) to the next service.

The V6 models, C240 & C280 also allow you to check oil level from the dash-display without the need to use the dip-stick in the engine bay but I don't think this feature worked on the 4 cylinder models C180 to C230K or the Inline 6 cylinder C280

Should be in the handbook.

My Car is a facelift V6 1997. I didn't know about the oil level thingy. I'll have to look in my handbook thanks. T.
