Just got a letter from merc today telling me i need to book my car in with them for this service measure,does anybody know what this is ?

just booked it in for next friday,they have said it would only an hour,so im waiting,is this the average waiting time for this recall,they have also said they will do all the outstanding service measures and technical upgrades,so seeing that the previous owner never got the BRAKES fixed, it highly unlikely anything else has EVER been done,so might be there a bit longer,if not overnight
