Hi all, I am a new member and would like your feedback on being quoted £915 for a B service at my local mercedes dealership?. I have an 09 CLC 1800 auto kompressor. Thank you.

Hi, I think it is the full 4 year service, not sure whats inc?. The area is Chelmsford.

Parts are normally included. What wont be is if they spot anything else that needs doing - but I wouldn't rely on MB to tell you honestly. Use a recommended inde instead!

Given the age of your car, it's not a huge problem any more to have it serviced elsewhere. Your rs wont feel as sore as well given that quote!

Do you have an MB warranty in place on the car? I think this can be affected by not using MB but in every other sense - there is no reason not to use an independent.

You could be running an AMG on the price of that service...

It would be cheaper to take out a 2yr Mercedes ServiceCare plan!

(Although I bet half the work suddenly wouldn't be required)
