Hi all,
Could someone help, my CLS 350 Cdi has developed a steering fault. When turning the wheel there is a loud screeching sound coming from the engine compartment. I have very limited turning capacity the steering wheel seem to completely lock and it is impossible to turn 45 degrees left or right. I just wonder if this is an indication of a dodgy steering motor ? Rather replace that instead of the whole rack. Furthermore, no lights on dash nor any codes read with basic icarsoft scanner. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
