Silly question?

I rarely listen to the radio when driving my SLK300, but can anyone tell me how to turn it off??!! I've turned volume down and taken to just using the 'mute' button which is I guess much the same as turning off the radio but I would love to know how to do it 'properly'!! Any help welcome, thank you.

Push the volume button in ?
Maybe the glovebox manual will yield a clue ?

How about selecting another source such as CD (obviously without a CD inserted)?

In my B Class pressing the volume button switches the whole unit off so no reversing camera, sat nav or anything else that requires the screen. The mute button is the answer.

Hi , well on my C207 the car has a separate button that turns the radio off in the centre consul.

Or select a different input such as CD

I have always pressed the Mute button. I don't think you can turn off only the radio tuner part of the infotainment system.

First ejecting the CD you were last listening to? The mute button remains the answer, it’s what it’s there for!
