Got all the right bits comand, memory seats, column, pretty sure was on here a few months ago for silly money.

Ignore the amg stuff could make a very nice car for not to much money.

It's because the guy wants to make it look like an E55 AMG when it's not. However, the E430 is probably quite quick anyways.

You mean you havent seen any of the big AMG no amg badge debates? they are great.

You wont find many w210 with less than 100k nowadays lots are now kissing 200k.

Aint that the truth, Ive been looking on and off for 6 months for one in decent condition with decent spec with sub 100k miles, and when they do come up it tends to be at prices way above book.

Crammy have a look for the unusual models ie the 430 as most people who could afford a big v8 bought the 55 amg instead.

Everyone wants the 320 or smaller engines.

Pistonheads quite good, never any more then 3 or 4 on there though.

Yep I check pistonheads/Ebay/Here every day (more than once a day if Im honest) but nothing exctly right comes up. I got excited today when an E320 came up but it has "rocket-ship mileage" as the dealer honestly put!.

Ive still got a bit of time, as even if my Merc goes in the scrappage scheme against the ifes new car, itll be November before it arrives, so still time I guess for somehting to come up.

How about a S430......I know of an absolute cracker thats coming up for sale....mint bodywork and a beautiful interior.

I have flirted heavily with the idea of a W220, as they appear to be cracking value for money, but the costs when they go wrong just seem too high for me to have an ejoyable long term experience without a good portion of luck. The appeal of the W210 is that it shouldnt break the bank if it goes wrong, compard with the W220 at least.
