SL280 - engine just died

Advice please - I have a problem with my 1998 SL280. The engine just died as I was driving along - literally lost all power. The electrics were fine but 100% engine failure. After around 20 mins, I was able to restart the car but the same thing happened again around 15 miles down the road. Probably a sensor somewhere but I have no idea where to start. Any advice would be appreciated.

Have a look though the engine section as this topic has been addressed within the last few days. Could be an OVP relay or a maf issue.

If it's the V6 then probably a crank/cam shaft position sensor.
