I'm new to trying to do mechanic type stuff and I'm having a problem... I'm starting to think what we call stuff here in the UK, at least mostly, isn't actually what the bits are called...
So I've run into the following problem...
I have leaking 'cam solenoids' as written on a report by a mechanic.
I can't find such a thing... closest I'm getting to this with regards to leaks is cam 'sensors'.
Are these the same things? What are these things called by parts stores?
I also have leaking cam plugs apparently... but again I can't seem to find such a thing. Having looked on youtube and found someone that also calls them as such and have seen them, I'm guessing that it's not the actual plastic things that need changing but the rubber rings, but what are these called, properly? Typing cam plug seals brings me nothing or parts for a Honda, and thats even with me adding SL350, M272, R230 etc...
Any help greatly appreciated.
