SL55 kompressor oil pump

So, ive just got a SL55 and the diognostics check i had done before i bought it showed the kompressor oil pump may need replacing ( well that's what i think he said ) and so i believe there may be an uprated pump available, anyone know where i can get one of these bad boys from cheers, Jay....

What fault are you having with the car. Are you suffering intermittent lack of power.

I would imagine they are on about the charge cooler pump which is a common fault.

yeh, after a few times of nailing it, it runs flat for a bit, otherwise runs perfect, the test actually showed the kompressor oil temp a bit high....

Was the diagnostics done with a mercedes star machine or generic code reader.

I would expect it to have a fault with the charge cooler pump and the fault code to say charge air temp too high as there is no sensor for the kompressor oil temp.

defo star machine, you must be right as in just getting into these having been an EVO man for many years, and its all abit confusing, so am i looking to buy a Johnson cm30, if so wheres the best place, ta..
