Rather a large lip on all four discs, I' d guess a full 1/8", so I'm hearing pound signs already

Brakes are surprisingly cheap for an AMG. The front disks are standard SL600 jobbies and are very reasonably priced.

Yes I checked them out ...was a nice surprise.....she's been in for an "in depth service" since yesterday morning....should be picking her up in an hour or so.....so will know just how good/bad the discs are/were soon.

The bonnet insulation is about £50 - taking if off can be harder than replacing it depending on how is was glued on.
