Have purchased a Carsoft 7.4 Multiplexer Diagnostics kit which I've plugged in to the circular connection back right under the hood. When I select complete diagnostics it appears to do something but returns the same message for every test. Status: Module is not built in, or does not respond.
The kit didn't come with a user manual so I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
Can anyone advise me.
The alarm went off whilst it wasn't set, the battery went flat and now the roof, roll bar aren't working and dash warning lights are on you know the deal.
Thanks,
gav

Suggest you get to a good independent with a star diagnostics machine to take a look.

There are a few that participate on here that come recommended. My personal recommendation would be to speak to Martin at Finch motors in Brentford.

If your battery went flat then you likely need to reset the windows and roll bar before you can operate the roof. You also likely need a healthy battery before it will allow you to operate the roof.

FWIW, many of the clone multiplexers I've seen are worthless. Genuine ones dont come cheap.

Thanks for your time in replying. I appreciate I haven't got the high end product. Was hoping I could at least identify my problem with what I have then I am armed with knowledge and not at the mercy of an over charging mechanic. So my original question still stands. Does anyone know how to operate a Carsoft 7.4 software package? Thanks, gav

Maybe I should have been clearer...I dont think carsoft will help outside of generic codes.

It needs to go on a star.

Speak to Martin above or one of the other friendly specialists we have here and get the problem codes read and more importantly interpreted correctly and at the same time test your multiplexer to see if it is dead or alive by connecting it to a known good diagnostics machine.

It won't cost nearly as much as you think for a quick diagnostic with an independant specialist and accurate diagnosis will likely save you money versus trial and error fixes.
