So erm, are SLK 320's unpopular?

SLK 320
Last specific post about them seems to have been over 2 years ago, makes me think....

(a) there is a specific forum for people who don't like the kompressor version
(b) we're all up ourselves as we have a budget V6 so you ban us quickly
or most likely....
(c) horribly embarrassed by the idea Mercedes won't acknowledge their existance

So what's the reason for so little chat on these cars, obviously the above is tongue and cheek, but it seems odd that they aren't creating some form of conversation along the way.

I love my 320!

you bad boy!:D

Unless it's a 32 amg they are just a very bland car. That's my opinion. Although I remember being like 7/8 and being amazed at how the roof worked. Still do think the roof is cool!

Not that many about?

I can only recall ever seeing the odd 320 with the vast majority being 200s and 230s.

Pah! been on there since I bought the boxster...and elise...and now with the SLK considered a lifetime member. Only get the branded watch if I complete the mix with an MX5 at some point!

Oh and BIG WORDS FROM A CONVERTIBLE PEUGEOT DRIVER :p you know that forum well I am sure!

They don't often go wrong, so no need to ask questions. We just keep quietly going on and on and on.......... Great cars at a very reasonable price.

There's been one on our drive for the last 10 years.

Have you tried having it evicted? It will have squatters' rights in another three years...

I didn't realise this thread would be so controversial, seems there are alot of non 320 owners who wish they'd had one before they became exclusive and the prices started to shoot up...word on the street is they are predicted to hit £20K by the spring!

I'm in! Got a V6 320 last week in R129 form... Need more of all of them...

I have a C209 (or is it a W209, I get confused by the weird numbering) CLK320 and see hardly any postings. It is the 2003 model but I am getting the feeling it's as rare as "rocking horse ****" on these forums.
I personally love the shape, the way it goes etc. It is also pretty much fully loaded, which seems rare, and had AMG stuff when new, according to my interpretation of the datacard etc.Did they sell many?...Is it a collectable?...I know I want to keep it for many years, as I love it. Not 1 spec of rust I have seen, or found, and everything works.....
