Solar Battery chargers

I use this one Maplin Link.
It can sit easily on the front dash or rear parcel shelf.

The maximum output of that panel in perfect conditions (bright sun) is 125 mA, average will be quite a bit lower and obviously it gives no output at all overnight.

The OP has a 24x7 current drain of 200 mA.

So a much more powerful panel is needed.

Petrol engine..;)
You only need a couple of AA batteries for those, don't you..?

Yup :)

But pretty sure the battery in my R129 is 100 Ah. That's a smaller engine than an SLK55, and almost certainly less drain from electronics when parked. So surprised to hear the SLK has a considerably smaller battery.

If the battery goes flat every 3 weeks and the OP wants to use his car every 4 weeks then a weak panel might just about do! We don't know how often it's needed or if the occaisional journey is enough to top up the battery.

Well thats why I thought too, I'm sure a plant would appreciate a couple of drops of water now and again than nothing at all for weeks on end, mind you I suppose it depends on the plant :)
