Special to for that damaged spark plug threads

A number of the photos seem to show it assembled back to front - surely the knurled end should be the opposite end to the threads, as in fact a few of the photos show. Shouldn't it?

I bought a 1957 Triumph tiger cub (200cc) in 1967 . As a 15 year old I used to ride it around the back lanes and side roads until the spark plug blew out . Took the cylinder head to local motorcycle dealer and had a helicoil insert supplied and fitted for £3 😋

Thats fine .But as a rule threads get damaged while fitting the spark plug. So most of the damage is on the first 1/4 of the thread , so this tool would be ideal .But after all youir head was off so no worry of swarf getting inside the engine . The tool can be used insitue .
