Speed Limiter ?

My W211 E-Class (2007) 320 CDI V6, 7 speed Turbo diesel
arrives at 135 mph, I have driven a similar and it goes to 155mph !!
Did MB do the speed limiter on this Model too ?

Is there an option to limit speed in the console, something to do with winter tyres I think, might be worth a look.
