Wonder if anyone can help.I need to replace my speedo cluster.
Mine is p/n MB A202 540 96 48 have been offered
MB A202 540 62 48
my car is 2000 202 Elegance auto est 200
the replacement is from 98 sport facelift 4 cyl saloon

Why don't you contact a company such as Cluster repairs who should be able to help and advise you?

Because my cluster is beyond repair...so I'm afraid its Ebay for a s/h one.

you can put it in, BUT unless its brand new you wont be able to change the milage thats on the cluster unless you go to a dodgy "milage correction" person

to change the milage on a new cluster you need to do it via a official mercedes STAR machine, you may also need to code any other cluster to your car for it to work properly via STAR.

Access to star is not a problem and milage doesn't really matter,Its the price that matters!!

Sorry, 202080 = C200.

So in theory the cluster you have found should be ok.
