After washing your car, does any one use a spot free rinse system like this.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AquaSheen-12-Car-Wash-Rinse-Water-Filter-30ppm_W0QQitemZ350105724415QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item350105724415&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A4%7C65%3A16%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

I, ve looking around for a system but they seem quite pricey, the one above is the cheapest I think, can any one beat it.
I've used the Flash car wash system but don't like the wash side of it, my sponge/mit, gets very dirty and feels slimy/silicony?
Also I prefer to use Mergures gold class wash.

Not tried one personally but heard good things (via detailing world). I was waiting for someone else here to part with there hard earned before I took the plunge!
PS stick with Meguires products, dogs danglly bits!

Do you refer to the product i linked to about the good things you've heard?

It says keep using the filter until you are no longer satisfied with the results. Does that mean you need to buy another one? Can't you just change the filter bit inside it?

I never get water spot marks with Autoglym aqua wax. You can spray it on a wet car after washing and quicky rub down with the provided cloths.

I use Bobby Dazzler ;)

Does this work in the winter OK, is it hard work?
I've seen simular stuff on the TV shopping channels, I stumbled across them you understand:o
Whats the lowest temp. you've had satisfactory results?

I suppose you just buy another unit:confused:
I also noticed they don't give satisfactory longevity results, 10-20-30-40-50 rinses?

I've not washed my car for 2-3 weeks now, so I've not tested it's effectiveness in cold conditions, sorry.

But in a typical mild day (10 degrees C) , the wax was very easy to rub in and polish and gave a good finish to my eye at least. Though I'm not a detailing fanatic, so to the more discernable person it may not be quite good enough.

Not that specific one, any filter that will filter to a couple of microns will do the trick, after all, you are only trying to remove all the impurities from the water as it's them little buggers that cause the water spots :)

the 30ppm filter certainly wont leave a spot free finish but the 0 ppm one will but I think flow will be low. Personally I use the Flash car wash just to rinse which has a deioniser cartridge in it at £5 a go its great value and demineralises the water giving a perfectly spot free finish on my balck Subaru and dark blue CLK and each cartrdge lasts about 4 months
