Spotted: Ford sierra sapphire cosworth

Just like yourself ive had a couple and for some reason favoured the 4x4 sapphire, even though i have a rwd one at the minute.
I remember severn valley they were sxxx hot on the cossies back in the days. Hear they have moved on to jap cars these days.
450bhp must have been crazy back then. Anything over 330bhp rwd feels like its trying to kill you!!!

I've owned 4 Cosworths of varying flavours. Favourite was a Saph 4 x 4 and least favourite was the original big turbo version of the Escort Cossie. Most bonkers was a Severn Valley tuned Saph RWD with around 450hp.

This was in the 80s and 90, epic times !

The owner of that car comes to support the owner club im with. Hes in his 60's and a real petrol head!

I was at bruntingthorpe testing ground a few years back in my RS Turbo having a photo shoot for Performance Ford, also the same day was a selection of Cossie's including Reylands Escort Cossie. That was one quick car and a all round nice guy who knows his stuff.

Yes hes very good at what he does.
He done wonders on Sunny Khalsas old fiesta Turbo back in the day...hit 178mph around 8 yrs ago! Everyone knows about Rods saff need i say more! And the Evo guys are very happy with what hes doin with their cars.
Hopefully ill be seing him in the near future for some mapping as im in the middle of doing a deal on a stanalone ecu as we speak =)
