Spotting appeared on arches

I know the 2002 W211 era was a tough one for build quality, however did I read Mercedes offer a 10year warranty on bodywork? If so, could I get the 'spottings' of rust dealt with under warranty still?

Generally they apply an 8 year cut off. Needs to have dealer history and to have owned more than 6/12. Talk to your dealer. Attitudes vary and some are much more helpful than others.
