Sprinter 2011 2.1 P0252 P0087 ERROR

Hi

My 2011 sprinter broke down on me yesterday syptoms include tapping sound and bellows of white smoke....( overfueling?) it refuses to start now and has thrown up the following codes

P0252 Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' Range/Performance (Cam/Rotor/Injector)​

I noticed that one of my injectors was chuffing slightly last week, would this be a cause do you think?

If not should i change the injection pump? I need to trade the van in anyways, so I just need to get it running without breaking down.

Does anyone have the location for the Pump on a 213 CDI 2011? I have plenty of time to DIY myself.

The chuffing injector could well be the start of black death, if it has been doing it for a while you could already have it. A failed injector seal is the cause.

Would it throw the P0252 error code?
