New to the forum. Hope you can help
1989 260e Auto in white no mods. 76700 miles.
Starts fine drive for around 15 to 20 minuets and stop at a shop. Car starts then stalls when put into drive. Then problems getting it started, runs rough and cuts out. Call out the AA 40 minuets later and it starts fine drives fine, leaving the AA man confused.
Today went to fill up with petrol same thing. Very rough then car wont start at all. Pushed it away from the pump
. Called RAC 1.5 hours later got fed up waiting it starts and drives fine. bumps into Rac man on the way out, he has a look no idea. But then says could be the "Heat sensor".
Any ideas
