Steam clean Ashford Kent

Anyone know where I can get the underside of the car steam cleaned in Ashford or Maidstone? Whilst new tyres being fitted at Lepsons yesterday I could see that after 5 years the underside could do with a spruce up, not something I can achieve with a hosepipe

Hi Keith from kent, I am a Keith from Lancashire. I dont know anyone your way but hopefully someone will have some useful experience of people near by. I have got some good recommendations on here, I dont always trust google reviews. For anyone up north CVM preston for servicing, MRS from aircon or rads, S and R tyre bay for anything wheel related, and when it somes for cleaning @LeeJV Is simply a font of knowledge. I also seem to remember a video by forensic detailing on YouTube were he used a patio cleaner upside down. From one Keith to another keep up the good work looking after your motor

Just want to go on record and acknowledge how much @DSM10000 contributes to the club. He has far more knowledge than many and appears to live and breathe all things merc . Like previously said I trust fellow members on here above google.

No disrespect intended. I'm still a fan of Googling for anything but I've lost faith in the review system, tbh. Not just Google's either. So many false and paid-for reviews online. I saw a bad Google review for Merparts in Port Glasgow that was clearly meant for another company. I reported it to Google but who knows if they'll do anything?

Last year I decided to jet wash the under side of my car and touch up bits and pieces of corrosion on the subframes etc. Seemed like a good idea at the time. I put it up high as possible on four axle stands and with the wheels off and plastic inner arch liners removed I set about it with the jet wash with the shortest lance I had...... largely lying on the floor under the car......... I would NEVER do it again! Sure it did a great job but I was getting dirt out of my ears and nose for days after, the old clothes I wore went straight in the bin and the brick block drive took as long to clean after as the car did. If I ever decide to do that again on my next car I will be paying someone else!!!

I have a pressure washer and ramps, I also have a drive made of stock bricks which look great but not covered in mud; and neither do I.
A BP garage in Ashford has a program that does chassis washing (not steaming). I asked if it also washed the top side and the answer was yes.
So that one's out, I'm not having rotating brushes on my paintwork. Not in a rush as living in the country it's pointless doing it until the spring
