Steering feels stiff?

Hi guys the steering on my w203 sports coupé feels stiff I checked my power fluid level and it seems fine there is also no noise when turning the steering in either direction. Any idea what it could be?

Have you checked your tyre pressures?

i haven't to be honest. However none of the tyres feel flat.

Check the tyres first as said above.​

It is probably worth raising both front wheels off the ground and trying to work out if the problem is with the steering mechanism or with the tyres scrubbing and/or friction in the parts that could reasonably referred to as suspension (ball joints etc) and can only have influence with the weight of the car while it sits on its wheels.

Just to clarify: stiff, or heavy? Does it strongly self centre during driving?

I'd go with the cheap easy option of tyre pressures first. Gonna guess you have a nice set of low profiles on, and thier very deceptive to standard visual and 'see how far your thumb goes in', tests we chaps can be known to do!

thanks for all the suggestions. Bellow it does strongly centre during driving that's the main problem. Also it seems extra hard to do manoeuvres.
