Steering Wheels.

Hi,they don't seem to be that good, they want your steering wheel to make it whatever you want, if they don't have a clk steering wheel they send you what they have and then after you have sent them yours they will do it as you describe. It is not a lot of good to me as I will have to maybe have it changed twice at my indi.

Ah same service as royal steering wheels then. I keep on thinking of changing mine, but the price always puts me off...

J.Sch - pretty sure they can do any shape / any size / any colour

The price puts me off as well, these steering wheels cost more than some road wheels.

Especially if you compare them to a price per wheel, will come out with a nice set of wheels for £1k :)

Don't really understand why the used units are so expensive... Guess they are rare, but just the cost for what it is just doesn't make any sense.

I found Jack at Royal steering wheels very helpful. He supplied me with a new CLS 63 wheel for my 55 at a very reasonable price and it was OEM!

Simal at synergy may have what your looking for. Club member web synergy motors.

Think it was £110 plus postage but guess it will depend on exactly what you want doing.

Here is a pic of my steering wheel after it had been recovered

He definitely quoted me more, cant remember the exact price but was around the £200 mark

£110 looks good value, £200 not so tempting.

My wheel is looking a little worn, I thought it may freshen up the interior. My problem though I don't want it looking too new.

I asked the company linked in original post, about W169 option - they do neither a shape change (flat bottom), nor a smaller wheel, so basically just a slightly fatter one - not really that appealing, not to me anyway, and certainly not for close to £280 (including interim used wheel) to change up from a nice, clean, nappa leather one I have...
