It’s all about the provenance. (Not so sure about servicing over the last 18 years)

Lovely SL Provenance is definitely there too.

Not as famous as Stirling's other R129, but this one was in danz benz's collection (obtained through H&H aswell to my knowledge) for a long time up until recently where it popped up for sale for I think 40 grand but don't quote me on that!!



^^ Silver ones a bit more significant and lower miles whatnot, so obviously it'd be worth more and probably not comparable in that sense.... Pictures of stirling w this car are on the internet too with articles so the provenance is a bit more significant w this one...

BUT 12 grand is a pretty generous estimate though as that's what nice pre facelift 500SLs seem to be doing these days; maybe more in some cases! and that's ignoring the provenance, which clearly matters..... This'll be a good one, H and H get some really cool cars, mercs especially..
