My parents were not married infact i didnt see my father until i was 15 yet I never stole a car or broke in to someones house .
Its a little harsh to assume the only reason this person stole your colleagues Car was because his parents were no longer together .
Im sorry if I got it wrong and I hope the car is recoverd quickly .

how can you feel for him? it is well known not to buy a car without log book! this will teach him a good lesson not to be so stupid,silly not doing the checks -- but you do have to feel for him..
