Hi All.

I have a couple of small stone chips on the bonnet of my car. Do you think clay barring the bonnet will make them less noticeable?

Unlikely, clar barring removes contaminates such as tar and road salt. You'd be better off with a DA polisher and some light cutting compound.

No. Clay will remove contaminants from the paint surface but will not help with scratches, swirls or chips. In fact using a clay bar may introduce marring.
Chips will need to be filled with paint to make them less noticeable.
