Stuck ml270 injector

Hi all can anyone help ?
I have a knackered no2 injector and have never removed one before.
I have noticed that watching videos on you tube that you unscrew the electrical top part then lift out the part underneath with the spinner to access where you would screw in an extractor.
But the spinner in my injector won't come out.
Is this normal because of age or is it a different make ?
I'm stuck so any help would be great and I am mechanically minded.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome

To remove the injector, you need to get the engine VERY hot and then undo the bolt and pull it out. Molegrips and a pulling/twisting. Some are very stiff and may require a removal tool which I believe is what you have been looking at. Try to remove without the tools as you may damage the injector and render it useless.
