suspension pump

hello,

so, has anyone replaced their suspension pump on their cls themselves? any how-to threads kicking about?

done it on E-class, not on a CLS but it can't be all that different.
I didn't replace the pump, just overhauled it with a seal kit from ebay. Good as new.

yeah i would guess they are much the same....

how many hours all inc?

Took me maybe 2 hours on my S211 but I was not rushing. It's an easy job but a little fiddly refitting the bolts/rubber bushes whilst you're lying on your back. As with many DIY car repairs, the first time you do it takes quite a while and if you have to do it again you'll do it in a fraction of the time.
