Swap OM603 for OM 606.910

Hi All,

I’ve a ’91 300D and a ’93 300D multi-valve.

How much of a job is it to swap the engines?

Do I need to swap the box and diff?

Can anyone recommend someone to do this job?

I am fairly sure that you will not have to swap the gearbox and diff. The gearbox will bolt straight on there. However make sure that you use the torque convertor from the 24 valve engine. Given the right tools and equipment you can do this job in a shade under 4 hours (i.e. engine out, engine in)
