Has anyone had any dealings with Sytner?(are they part of the mb network,i'm viewing one of there select cars).

This will be hard to get a decent answer on - they are huge, which means there will be good and bad reports from people.

sytner are an independent group which are part of many main dealer networks, milton keynes MB dealership is theirs.

just inspect the car thoroughly as i had loads of probs and had the car return to them several times before they got all the agreed chips and scratches sorted, they did get it sorted but it was a pain!

salesman i dealt with had no customer skills either and was not interested in answering my questions, i would have gone to another dealership if it wasnt for the actual car. i ended up talking to the previous owner who answered all my questions and gave me all the past paperwork.

To be fair the salesman i spoke to yesterday when arranging a viewing/test drive was very helpful in answering my questions(i know all salesman are when trying to sell a car but even so)he described the car is in very good condition in/out including wheels(unkerbed),i will inspect the car & check everything works as it should as well as scrutinising the service history/receipts/mot's before deciding on it.

Not likely to describe it as worn out and knackered, is he?

^If thats what it is then yes(sale of goods act).

As he's said that, then you won't need to wear your glasses when inspecting it then, will you.
Why bother going to look at all, just do the deal over the phone.

Correct-an answer to my original question would have been more helpful:rolleyes:

But wouldn't have answered your real query, so became pointless and incorrect with relation to what you wanted to know.

^Because a dealer is hardly likely doing a part x over the phone & i would be driving away after viewing anyway:confused:

So you trust the dealer salesman to accurately describe their car to you, but they don't trust you to accurately describe your car to them.

Maybe we will get a question from the salesman asking about dealing with you...;)

 I will still have to take my car to the dealership for any part x to happen-clear enough?

But, you're not going to bother checking the car they are selling or indeed bother asking on this forum about dealings with them, because you are so sure the salesman was absolutely up front and straight with you.

Why did you bother asking at all?
