I have a W211 Estate and want to go hands free for the phone, the car has no pre wiring what is the best option and can I get anything that will work through the comand.
Obviously anything is possible, but my budget is not huge!
Thanks

To have phone hands free and work through the comand/steering wheel and instrument cluster you will need to have Mercedes UHI pre-wire installed. Then you will need to add a suitable cradle either fixed or bluetooth. Its not cheap. You are looking at between £950 and £1300 all in depending on cradle and where you opt to have the UHI connector placed

If you can do without the Comand integration, Parrot do a bluetooth hands free kit with steering wheel control integration that is compatible with the W211 from 2004 onwards.

It is signifcantly less money, I would think around the £200 mark, but not OEM, no cluster integration either.
