Tempted by a W124 280te

Hi Gang

I ran a lovely W124 280te for a while in 2005-2006, which I posted about on this board, I now need a load-lugger again and am not too bothered about fuel economy as the mileage won't be excessive so I thought I would look up the W124's again and it would appear that prices have crashed (fuel costs?)so if I can find the right car I may be returning to the fold!

There is a dark blue one not far from me on Autotrader which I will check out this week, looks good in the ad but then don't they all!

Bargains now - must be fuel prices that puts people off.

Sales of all cars are down a lot. Not just fuel prices but dearer food, gas, electricity, mortgages, and bad news galore. And higher VED just to make matters worse.

Some reports say second hand prices across the board are down an average of 25%. Big engines more.
