Is there anyway of testing that a UHI connection plate is working. I have 2006 B200 that had a Nokia cradle installed took that out and got a sap4 module but it does not light up at all.
I've been assured by the guy I got it off that it's fully working so I'm thinking the uhi connection is broken the plate was loose in the pull out draw.
Help appreciated Dave

You don't have any old Nokia handheld that fits to you old cradle for testing? Not that easy to test the UHI-connector, easier to test that new SAP module on another Mercedes that has the UHI connector.

Yeah it's finding someone who lives near me that has a uhi in there car and is willing to let me try the module. The only other thing I can do is pull the armrest thing off and try and check the wiring but that's a bit of a long shot as well.

Any MB dealer near by that would have a second-hand car with UHI and would allow testing your adapter?

The local mb dealer near me only has nice new shiny mercs won't be anything on there forecourt that uses the old uhi system.
