The toothpaste trick is probably a good idea for getting rid of stuck on debris and polishing the glass.

Aaaaaarrrghhhhh, a sponge! How to ruin your paintwork in one very step.

As for using olive oil to shine the interior! It may be shiny but it will soon be a sticky, dusty mess.

I do tend to find myself walking through the work car park dismayed at the extent of the swirl marks and astounded by the number of cars with holograms all over the bodywork.

Whatever method you choose, have fun!

Regards, Neil

Surely a clean water hose or jet wash rinse first is needed before the dreaded sponge is used to drag all the dirt around scratching the paint work i couldn't watch

Direct Line Fixology ?

I can just hear Rash on the phone to Winston Wolf about whoever made that video .

Why would you make the interior smell of "Eau de Chipshop" ?

It's The Guardian.

Anyone else would have used lard or dripping.

On the subject of Citroens, walnut oil does a good job of bringing up old black plastic that has gone light grey.
