I have been a member of this forum almost from the very beginning (in a different name). I remember the days when Koolvin, GrahamC230k, Sym and myself were modding w202s :) :) As it's grown it has got much bigger and far more diverse but it has always been a fun place to drop in and out of. I love my Mercedes, I love the contacts I've made on here, the kindnesses shown, the gtgs...so many things.

Some people try to focus on neggies but for me this is still my Mercedes home! Thanks for all the good times -here's to many more!:bannana:

Yes I agree with Greg. If it wasn't for The Forum I would be very much richer. It is because of the said 202 mods I had read about that I bought my first AMG ( A C43 ) Which I spent vast amounts of money which I sold ( To Olly ) to make way for the CL.

It is the most friendly and helpful Forum around. As Koolvin mentioned earlier this morning there are some d**k heads on here, fortunately they are very much in the minority.

still miss my c36 :(

And not here for much longer, by the look of it :thumb:.

I feel the need to look up my w202 photos! I remember driving Koolvin's Turboed C180 and I remember the huge gtg in Maffs front garden when I got Brabus to come :) goodtimes!

Scary to think, 10 years ago I was doing exactly the same thing checking posts on here  and modding my W202

Remember this was one of my sigs?

easy to pick .. find the post with the most "likes"

I`ve been here a while,too.
I like the off-topic stuff, mainly.
It`s the wide range of people/topics that makes it one of my daily browses.
Cars are dull.

Cars are dull, you need to do some detailing :D

This was the first forum I joined, I have joined a couple of others since and while they get replies etc, there is a lot more diversity on here and it makes it all the more interesting. There is always plenty of varying opinions and lots of banter, which is surely what makes a forum! And of course if you ask nicely you get help!

Actually, this is inaccurate.
You don't HAVE to asky nicely.

But it helps. :D

Both gone but not forgotten!

I'll be part of this group hug as well. It's the first forum I joined and I've never posted on another beyond seeking basic information and never gone back regularly. I'm sure it's the sheer volume of traffic that comes through here, much of the content good, that keeps it fresh and worth reading.

I'm certain that this forum is one of the reasons I never look beyond Merc for my next car.

When I say that to people they look at me as if I am nuts.

I went back to an Audi for a while, A6 3.2 avant, but the lack of any sort of community out there dulled the ownership experience.

The other thing I noticed, was the die hard Audi guys from forums past had all buggered off, they were all driving BMWs and Mercs.

A few of them on here too! ;)

Can anyone recommend a good Mitsubishi forum...the one I joined is duller than ditch water.
