The only SL55 with BMW paint

It does look very Estoril-esque doesn't it?

Mauritius blue is a BMW colour too, from the early 90's :):). I remember from bitter experience having had to get rid of swirls & scratches from my valeting days...

Extremely, and its described as Estoril Blue in the add. Personally of the BMW paints I prefered Le Mans Blue.

enter my X5 in lemans blue :)

My Mother-in-Law had the first E36 I'd ever seen, and 320 in Mauritius Blue.

Nice car that was. Replaced by a Legacy Turbo estate, in a similar hue.

So what was her favoirite colour, red?

A neighbour had an M3 CSL in Estoril, but then he woke up and changed it for a 330d Coupe.;)

She had an MX6 (her favourite car ever) after the Legacy in ...blue too!! Not dissimilar to Estoril in fact.

She was not impressed when it was swapped for an Impreza, in what I believe was Reddish ...Blue, which I believe was the proper name IIRC!!

She saw sense in the end too. After umpteen other cars, she now has a Micra diesel. You guessed it, in... BLACK!!

I think it looks great.

Without being pedantic, the CSL (E9 or E46) was never offerd in Estoril, it may have been a CS or a respray/wrap or most probably just a standard M3.

;)

I'm not terribly up on BM colours but it was a genuine late car and I though in Estoril, if not then a similar blue hue.

Im pretty sure MB had a period where you could go in and ask for pretty much any colour you like as long as you paid the Designo option price...

maybe? or maybe just a stupid seller.
