The ultimate AMG accessory

Lol omg. I'm a size 7. Will they make me walk faster (not that I could walk any faster tbh...)?

Wrong colour mate - you need yellow & blue to match the Veyron!! ;)

But did you see Watchdog last night?
It was saying how easy it is for loads of fakes to flood the market, so are these real or cheap copies?

I doubt they're official merchandise, as official branded goods either carry the MB logo or AMG logo, but not both, and definitely not so close together.

Does AMG pay the wearer for being a walking billboard or are they aimed at sadsacks who need the brand affiliation to increase their own worth?

V tacky in either case, IMHO.

As you can tell, I don't get the whole brand lable thing.

If they were genuine they would have the /// on the AMG logo for a start!

Where is that darn tissue box!? :D

Ah. I do own several MB and AMG branded items, so draw your own conclusions about what kind of person I am. :o

People have a natural desire to belong to a community, whether that be those that we live in, those that we work in, those that we kick 'cyber tyres' in (like this one), or any other that shares a common set of values or beliefs.

Many members own MB cars, which is a very visual display of brand affinity. We're all here, either reading, writing, or physically taking part in mbclub events, again a clear demonstration of brand affinity.

Is me wearing an MB watch, whilst sheltering under my AMG brolly - or more to the point the winner of that particular auction wearing his/her branded driving shoes - any more or less of a sadsack than someone that just reading this post?

This post is not fake though! ;)

Please remember that buying counterfeit items is encouraging illegal activites. I suppose this means that eBay is running on the proceeds of crime!

They get watch manufacturers to make 'em, slap an MB logo on, and pimp their brand ...err, I mean stretch their brand.

Citizen, IWC, etc. Mine are great quality (got two), and I love 'em. But I am a sadsack. :p

Give her a 'nana from her Uncle Dazzler!! :bannana:

I'm off to drink my cocoa in my MB branded mug now ...no really I am joking this time. Honest. No, please believe me. It's just a mug. That happens to have a sort of the three pointed star on it. Coinkidink or sumfink. :o ;)

It's not but you're incredibley close. When the SLR watch came out I couldn't believe how close it looks to my regular MB watch. Same overall shape and strap, but different face - mine doesn't have the elaborate pattern.

Who knows what Santa might bring though?? ;)
