I recognise a few names in the NW from the GtiROC but hadn't realised they were still spending £20 a year to be a member. I might check with them next time I see them.

For me, the name of the 200+bhp club always switched me off as 200hp (at the flywheel) is not that great so why shout about it? I always felt (rightly or wrongly as I'm surprised to see a few friends on the members list) that it was for people who wanted to show off but didn't realise they only had a moderately fast cars.

yeah, i was kinda thinking i mite pop round with mine and let them see something that goes a bit better. but in my region there is someone with an Ultima. i know when i am beaten.

plus they do speed runs at elvington. thought i mite have ago one day.
